I can’t find a product I used to buy?

Please be aware that several ranges are now obsolete and are no longer sold via this website, these include the following: Varitone, Patterned Seamless, Twistflex, Vinyl, PolySilk, and Tuf-Flock Velour.

I've seen a Creativity Backgrounds offer on a discount code site, how do I claim it?

Discount code sites crawl the web and try and find special offers and discounts on other websites, we do not supply discount codes to these sites and are not connected with them.

Special offers or deals for Creativity Backgrounds will be displayed on our website and sent in our official email newsletter.

Can the rolls be cut?

Yes, you can cut the rolls. If you want a roll width between the standard sizes, you can cut the paper rolls (while on the roll) with a fine-toothed saw.

Cut to Size Service

For a small additional charge, we can machine cut paper rolls to size, just select the "Cut to Size" option before adding the roll to your cart. Please note that cut-to-size rolls are not returnable and due to packing difficulties, we do not normally ship the offcut. Only available on 2.72m x 11m Seamless Rolls.

Overseas Shipping

We do not ship to photographers outside of the UK, however, we do work with a select number of businesses in Europe. For bulk export customers, please contact our Customer Service team via customer.service@daler-rowney.com.

Storage Instructions

If the studio or any room where background rolls are stored is in any way damp, humid, or not kept heated the paper will absorb moisture and may be prone to wrinkling. This could be a problem if the roll is stored high up on a wall bracket where warm moisture in a studio would rise.

If paper or vinyl backgrounds are not going to be used for any length of time re-use the plastic bag that the roll came out of, return it to its carton and then store it upright not flat on the floor. Paper and vinyl background rolls should always be supported along the full width of the roll and not just at either end as some supports do, as this will cause sagging of the roll in the centre.

Core sizes - will it fit my support system?

Creativity Backgrounds paper rolls will fit most common support systems.

The 1.35m and 2.72m widths are on a 5cm Diameter core (2 inches).

The 3.56m width is on a 6cm Diameter core (2 and three-eighths inches).

I'm not getting your emails?

Like most websites we use emails as part of the registration process, to communicate order details, for username reminders and password resets, and occasionally for marketing if you have opted in for that. Some email providers may wrongly identify our emails as spam and not deliver our email to your inbox. If you are expecting an email from us that doesn't arrive, please check your spam settings and spam folder in your email software.

 

I haven’t received an order confirmation?

You will receive an email confirmation when payment has been successful. If you don't get the confirmation email within 30 minutes of making payment, please check your spam folder. If it still has not arrived, please contact customer services.

I think I entered my email address incorrectly?

If you did not receive an email from us, it's possible you made a mistake when typing your email address when you registered. The easiest way to check this is to enter your email address in the username reminder box. If you see a message that your email is not found, then your address isn't registered. To correct this, and if you can log in, you can change your email address in your account settings. If that doesn't work just register again using the correct address.

How can I receive an invoice?

Your order confirmation email shows the VAT and can be used as an invoice.

What does Order Status mean?

The statuses of the orders now mean the following:

  • PENDING - order has been placed and is awaiting shipping

  • CONFIRMED - order has been shipped out to you - please allow 5-7 working days.

Once we have prepared your order for delivery, you will be sent an email notifying you of the change - this will include a tracking ID so that you may track your order with the courier (when supported by the courier).

Can I track my order?

You can see the status of your order by logging in and clicking on "Your Account" in the user menu in the top right corner of the screen. From your account page, you can view and print previous orders. Order status is updated to show when we ship your order, and we will notify you by email. Where available we will include a consignment tracking number so that you can track your delivery via the courier.

 

When will I get my background?

Orders are dispatched from stock from our warehouse in the Midlands. Once it has been shipped from our warehouse, the standard shipping delivery window is within 5 to 7 working days. Please be aware, when there are postal strikes there may be a delay in receiving your order.

The Next Day delivery option is no longer available.
