Descriptions:

We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is up-to-date and accurate. However, errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it.

We have made every effort to reproduce the colours of our products as accurately as possible via the web but the colours you see on the screen are for reference only and should not be relied upon as a definitive guide. If you have precise colour requirements please ask for our free colour chart via the contact us form or download it here.

Promotions and Discounts:

Keep an eye out throughout the year for promotions and discounts. All promotions and discounts will only be announced on this website and via our newsletter. No third parties can promote or create a discount/promotion.

Payment Provider:

We accept payments using PayPal due to the native integration between Squarespace and PayPal. You can use PayPal to process credit card payments without a PayPal account.

Delivery:

Delivery is via courier service to the UK mainland excluding Scottish highlands and islands. Orders are dispatched from stock from our warehouse in the Midlands. Once it has been shipped from our warehouse, the standard shipping delivery window is within 5 to 7 working days. Please be aware, when there are postal strikes there may be a delay in receiving your order.

Our courier charges are based on the total weight of your order which reflects the costs to us from our courier. this table is for guidance and may change, shipping will be calculated at checkout.

Total Order Weight - Standard Delivery:
Up to < 12 kg - £9 + VAT
12 to <25kg - £13.50 + VAT
> 25kg - £22 + VAT

Any out-of-stock items will be back ordered and delivered to you as soon as they arrive. There will be no further postage charge for backorders. If you wish to cancel any item(s) that are not in stock we will refund the cost of the item.

Some items have special handling requirements which may delay dispatch, if this applies it will be notified on the appropriate product page.

The delivery address you give us MUST have somebody there to accept deliveries - work addresses are always a good idea. If the courier service is unable to deliver through no fault of their own, and the delivery is returned to us, we will refund your order but will deduct the charge from the courier.

Next-Day Delivery:

We no longer offer a next-day delivery service.

Bulk Orders:

For UK bulk customers, please contact our Customer Service team via customer.service@daler-rowney.com. Please do let us know if you need an up-to-date order form to also be sent to you.

Overseas Destinations:

We currently do not ship to photographers outside of the UK however we do work with a select number of businesses in Europe. For overseas bulk customers, please contact our Customer Service team via customer.service@daler-rowney.com.

Storage:

If the studio or any room where paper rolls are stored is in any way damp or not kept heated the paper will absorb moisture and may be prone to wrinkling. This could be a problem if the roll is stored high up on a wall bracket where warm moisture in a studio would rise.

If paper backgrounds are not going to be used for any length of time use the plastic bag that the roll came out of, return it to its carton and then store it upright not flat on the floor. Also, the paper roll should always be supported along the full width of the roll and not just at either end as some supports do, as this will cause sagging of the roll in the centre.

Non-Delivery of Goods:

In the event that any of our Couriers do not manage to deliver within the required time slot for whatever reason, we will investigate the full reasons for the non-delivery before any action can be taken, however, we will refund any delivery charges made for that delivery. If time was of the essence for this delivery, and the goods are no longer required due to late delivery then, depending upon the reasons for non-delivery we may agree to make a full refund upon the receipt of the non-damaged goods back at our premises. We accept no liability for any consequential losses or costs incurred howsoever they may be incurred due to any delivery or non-delivery, and any refund or liability will be limited only to the value or part thereof of the goods ordered.

Returns Policy:

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please check the goods on delivery and ensure that they are supplied correctly, if upon delivery the rolls are found to be damaged or faulty, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery, see Damaged Goods. In the unlikely event that any of our rolls are defective, we will happily refund the purchase price of any of these rolls, however, we cannot take any responsibility for any other costs or consequential losses howsoever incurred.

Background paper rolls that have been "cut to size" are non-returnable unless damaged in transit and signed for as such with the courier.

Damaged Goods:

We take every precaution to package our orders to ensure they withstand the rigours of transit, but occasionally materials can arrive damaged. Please check the goods on delivery and ensure that they are supplied correctly, if upon delivery the rolls are found to be damaged or faulty, please sign on the courier’s paperwork or handheld device that it is damaged.

If you receive damaged goods please contact us by email in the first instance within 48 hours, preferably with an image attached, so that we can arrange for delivery back to us. We will replace or refund the goods as per your request, ensuring all damaged goods are signed on the courier’s paperwork or handheld device as Damaged, or the delivery should be refused altogether.

Unwanted Items:

If the item(s) you have ordered are not exactly what you wanted, please return them to us within 7 days of receipt. Please enclose a copy of your invoice indicating the items being returned. We will be happy to refund you for the returned items providing they are returned in their original condition. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened. You must pay the cost of returning the goods and you will be responsible for their safety during transportation. When returning items please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit back to us. Any substitute goods should be ordered through the website as a new order in the usual way as we do not offer an exchange service.

It is your responsibility that unwanted items are packed so as to avoid damage in the post as goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. If any returns received by us are not in a re-saleable condition, then no refund will be given.
