In this video, photographer Tommy Reynolds reviews Creativity Backgrounds seamless background paper and goes on to show how you can change the tone of a paper backdrop simply by varying the distance between light source and the backdrop.

How to make a white photography backdrop look black

With a little help from model Cassie and the inverse square law Tommy makes an Arctic White backdrop appear grey, and then black.This technique can be used with any of our background papers to dramatically change the appearance of the colour.
