She shoots portraits, portfolios, events and on set shots, (Pavarotti, Sooty and Sweep, Adele, John Hegley, lots of bands, actors, directors, producers) but she now part owns Yawning Cheetah Productions based half here in the UK and half in Hong Kong, with a remit on travel documentary. Her style is distinctively reportage in nature, black and white high contrast reminiscent of the early Magnum photographers.

"These are unexpected images to film photographers, (I was one myself, and still adore the media and hardware). My desire with digital was to push the boundaries beyond film, and see what it could do. Where could you go in a landscape beyond reach of human illumination. I have always loved night photography for its surreality, and unexpectedness; the Colours of Night."

The extensive range of colours offered by Creativity Backgrounds offers me a dynamic palette with which to work with. I use the vibrant and powerful tones to provide an edge when creating commercial portraiture and also as a great tool when teaching lighting technique. From individuals to groups of friends and even family sessions, adding that magical colour into the background can be a great reflection on the subjects own personalities.
