Adam Hart-Davis, DPhil

Adam is a writer, scientist and broadcaster on radio and television, and is also a photographer whose science photography is represented by the Science Photo Library. "I enjoy taking scientific photographs, specially close-ups of fibre optics, milk and water drops, bursting balloons, and spiders' webs. My pictures have appeared in many magazines and books, and in a dozen national newspapers. My book Why Does a Ball Bounce: and 100 other questions from the worlds of science is based on some of the scientific ones."

He has 13 honorary degrees and is a patron of many societies.

Shades of Red, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black and White are the most used in my portraits as I can generally match a clients dress or accessories with the backdrop. And each of these reacts differently in B&W photography.
