Can the rolls be cut?

Cutting a roll of photography background paper - photo: Carl DavisYes. If you want a roll width between the standard siizes the paper rolls can be cut (while on the roll) with a fine toothed saw.

Carl Davis says "if your roll doesn't fit onto your pole, in your car or in your studio space, why not just cut it to size like I do. The rolls come tightly wound so a little sellotape to stop the ends fraying and using a standard saw cut slowly and without too much effort it will soon be the perfect size"

The backgrounds were fantastic to work with. They added a wonderful richness of colour and subtlety of tone and made control of the complex lighting that much easier.
