I've lost my password
If you know the username and e-mail address you registered with you can generate a new password from here
If you have also lost your username contact us using the contact form here.

Once logged in you can change your password and other account details using the "Your Account" menu option here .
 
What does Order Status mean?

When you place your order with us the status of the purchase order (on the purchase order e-mai) is initially shown as PENDING. This means pending payment confirmation. When we get confirmation that your payment has gone through you will get an e-mail to say that your oder status has been changed to CONFIRMED (this is usually within a few minuites of the order being placed).


If for some reason payment fails the order status wil be changed to CANCELLED and you will get an e-mail to that affect.


If you don't get the confirmation e-mail within a few minutes of making payment please contact customer services.

Once we have prepared your order for delivery we will change the status to SHIPPED, you will be sent an e-mail notifying you of the change - this will include a tracking id so that you may track your order with the courier |(when supported by the courier).

 
How about security?

We take security and privacy very seriously. Our site is SSL encrypted using a security certificate from Comodo. Your registration details are held on our database but we do not store your credit card or bank details on our systems. At checkout we ask you to enter card details and these are passed via an encrypted link to ProtX, the payment gateway. ProtX handle credit card verification and pass the results back to us, again via an encrypted link.

Please note that if your card is registered with the 3D secure scheme the payment gateway will try and open a pop up window to allow you to enter your 3D secure password. If you do not allow pop ups there is an authenticate button which takes you to your bank's 3D secure password page

We will not pass your contact details on to anyone else. We will from time to time send out e-mail news letters with our news and details of offers or promotions, you will have the option to opt out of these if you wish.

 
Can I track my order?
You can see the status of your order by logging in and clicking on "Your Account" in the user menu in the top right corner of the screen . From your account page you can view and print previous orders. Order status is updated to show when we ship your order and we will notify you by e-mail. Where available we will include a consignment tracking number so that you can track your delivery via the courierr.

Orders with a TNT consignment number can be tracked through TNT's website here.
Order with a City Link consignment number can be tracked through City Link's website here.
 
When will I get my backgrounds?
Orders are dispatched from stock from our own warehouse in the Midlands. We usually process orders the same day they are received and with our standard shipping expect to deliver well within seven working days. We use either DHL or TNT (only TNT can handle the longer items). If you require next working day delivery this is available as a small extra cost option at checkout for orders received before midday (Mon - Fri) excluding public holidays. If you have special delivery requirements please contact us either by phone or using the e-mail contact form and we will do what we can to help.
 
Can the rolls be cut?

Cutting a roll of photography background paper - photo: Carl DavisYes. If you want a roll width between the standard siizes the paper rolls can be cut (while on the roll) with a fine toothed saw.


Carl Davis says "if your roll doesn't fit onto your pole, in your car or in your studio space, why not just cut it to size like I do. The rolls come tightly wound so a little sellotape to stop the ends fraying and using a standard saw cut slowly and without too much effort it will soon be the perfect size"
